Global Animal Partnership (G.A.P.) is a non-profit organization that develops comprehensive animal welfare standards and works with independent, third-party certifiers to audit and certify the farms and processing facilities meeting these standards. When you see the G.A.P. Animal Welfare Certified label, you know that the animals were raised with:

MORE SPACE

A SAFE & ENRICHED ENVIRONMENT

ACCESS TO PASTURE OR OUTDOORS
(STEPS 3 & ABOVE)

A HEALTHY, VEGETARIAN DIET

NO ADDED HORMONES OR ANTIBIOTICS
Look for the G.A.P. Label

G.A.P.’s Animal Welfare Certified label means that animals are raised without antibiotics or added hormones, and are fed a vegetarian diet with no animal by-products. The higher the number, the more the animal’s environment mimics its natural environment.
Why G.A.P.?

Quality
Better raising and handling of animals results in better tasting meat. There are also NEVER any antibiotics or added hormones in the meat used.

Transparency
Unlike other animal welfare certifications who audit only a sample of farms, G.A.P. third-party certifiers audit every single farm. And all of our animal welfare standards are available on our website.

Responsibility
G.A.P. cares about animals and their welfare. Our mission is to change the way animals are raised for food.
