To support the integrity of our program and, in the spirit of full transparency to our stakeholders, we are working with our third-party Certifiers to conduct animal welfare audits remotely. Audits of existing G.A.P. Animal Welfare Certified partners as well as new partners would normally be conducted on-site at every farm seeking certification, but the COVID-19 outbreak has led us to allow our independent certifiers to conduct these assessments remotely through alternative mechanisms such as desk audits, with digital proof to support compliance. We are also exploring the use of technology to complete audits and renewals to remotely monitor the animals and their environment.
